Charis Michaelides is the Chief Compliance Officer of Lemissoler Shipping Group. He joined the organisation in January 2000.
As head of the Safety & Quality Department, Charis is primarily engaged with the development and implementation of Lemissoler’s policies and management systems. In his early professional career he served in the engineering field both at sea and ashore.
Charis obtained a BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Offshore and Maritime Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK as well as a MSc in Maritime Safety Administration (Marine Engineering Stream) from the World Maritime University of Sweden.
Professional memberships include the Institute of Marine Engineering, the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and the Cyprus Shipping Council’s Technical Sub-committee.
