Throughout the years the Lemissoler Group has grown dramatically and in general one can say that the group followed a rapid expansion strategy. The following is a company timeline. 

  • 1997 Entered into ship owning with the acquisition of MV Lem Alpha
  • 1997 Commenced operation between Hamburg - Bremerhaven - Gdynia
  • 1997 The acquisition of MV Lem Beta
  • 1998 Introduced Gdansk (first liner service)
  • 1999 Expanded the service to Aarhus
  • 2000 The Danish service included Esbjerg
  • 2000 MV Forest Venture is acquired
  • 2001 Establishment of IMCL Poland Sp.zo.o.
  • 2001 Achieved the biggest feeder market share in Poland
  • 2003 Lemissoler Shipmanagement Ltd opens crew agency in Odessa, Ukraine
  • 2004 Establishment of Lemissoler Gulf Shipping in Kuwait
  • 2004 Establishment of IMCL Germany GmbH
  • 2005 Introduction of a vessel sharing system
  • 2005 Lemissoler Shipmanagement Ltd established Argo Travel Ltd in Kiev, Ukraine
  • 2006 The acquisition of MV Margit Gorthon, MV Joh. Gorthon, MV Alida Gorthon and MV Ingrid Gorthon
  • 2007 Acquisition of Baltic Container Lines
  • 2007 Lemissoler Maritime Company WLL founded
  • 2007 Latvia branch established
  • 2008 Lemissoler Maritime Company WLL acquires MV Forest Panama
  • 2008 Lemissoler Maritime Company WLL acquires en bloc the three sisters MV Govern, MV Grace and MV Greet.
  • 2008 IMCL Latvia SIA branch established
  • 2009 IMCL Latvia SIA commences liner operation
  • 2009 Lemissoler Group sells IMCL to UNIFEEDER
