Chief Technical Officer
Dimitris Solomonides is the Chief Technical Officer of Lemissoler Navigation Co Ltd. He graduated from the Higher Technical Institute with a HND in Marine Engineering technology. After serving his military duty he continued his studies in the USA at Texas A&M University graduating with a BSc degree in Marine Engineering. He worked for one year in the USA and then sailed for about five years in the merchant navy. He has served on various types of cargo vessels as an engine officer. Dimitris has been working in the shore shipping industry since 1991 in various positions ranging from a technical superintendent to a technical manager. He has worked in a company that started with a fleet of just three vessels growing along and reaching up to 50 vessels in a period of less than 10 years.
During the second part of his career and employment he worked on special assignment short term projects. As a superintendent he was directly involved in the technical management of the very first two vessels that Lemissoler had owned, the Lem Alfa and the Lem Beta. Dimitris has accumulated over the last 30 years valuable experience in the shipping industry with professional integrity and passion for team work.
Chief Commercial Operations and Chartering Officer
Chrysostomos Demetriou joined Inter Marine Container Lines Ltd (IMCL), a subsidiary company of Lemissoler, in 2000 to 2003 as Operations/Line Management Officer. He has rejoined Lemissoler at the end of 2006 as Fleet Development Manager/Market Analyst and promoted to Sales & Purchase, Chartering Manager in 2009, Chief Marine and Operations Officer in 2012 and to Chief Commercial Operations Officer in 2014.
As Chief Commercial Operations Officer, Chrysostomos is responsible in achieving excellence operational matters, while still maintaining control over S&P and chartering matters. He is a holder of a BSc (Hons) in Maritime Business and Transport and a Master’s degree MSc in International Shipping.
Group Financial Controller
Michalis Lazarou joined Lemissoler in 2008 as Group Assistant Financial Controller and promoted to Group Financial Controller in 2009. Prior to joining the organization Michalis has served as an auditor in a chartered accountants firm in Sydney, Australia for four years and prior to this as an auditor in Deloitte in Cyprus for five years. He is responsible for the accounts department operation. His duties include the preparation of the statutory Financial Statements of the group as well as the preparation of financial management reports which includes management accounts, budgets and budget control. He monitors the treasury operation of the Group. He liaises with external auditors for the auditing of the Group accounts.
He is responsible for the preparation and filling of the Group Tax and VAT returns. He participates in analysis of projects, financial and tax due diligence for entities of the Group that are disposed/acquired. He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Demetris Konstantinides was employed by Lemissoler Shipmanagement Ltd in 2006 as a Purchasing Officer, in 2008 was promoted to a Technical Coordinator and in 2015 was promoted to a Procurement Manager. He is responsible for approving and monitoring the supplies of the vessels, as well as any requirements such as vessels services and repairs. He is also responsible for approving new suppliers and monitoring vessels budgets to ensure that money is spent for value.
Assists also, the Technical Superintendents and follows up their cases during their absence. He holds a Higher National Diploma (H.N.D.) in Marine Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute in Cyprus, a BEng in Marine Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, and a Master’s Degree MSc in Naval Architecture from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and. Furthermore, he is a holder of a Master in Business Administration (MBA) program held from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). Demetris is member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ΕΤΕΚ) and the Cyprus Shipping Chamber’s Technical Sub-committee.
Stavros Ioannides joined Inter Marine Container Lines Ltd (IMCL), a subsidiary of Lemissoler, in 2003 as Operations/Line Management Officer and promoted to Operations Manager in 2004. In 2010 moved to Chartering department of Lemissoler Shipmanagement Ltd as Chartering Manager. His current task involve searching the market, negotiating and fixing the most suitable employment for the spot vessels, carrying out all the post fixture activities, i.e. voyage orders, bunkering, scheduling, contact with charterers and brokers, and handling of disbursements.
He is also responsible for budgeting and voyage calculation, for handling the agencies matters and arranging the provision of supplies and services. In addition, he issues hire invoices, freight invoices, demurrages after lay-time calculations and final hire statements. Carries out market research and studies, keeps track with the insurance and the P&I Club for the sailing areas, cargoes and charterers. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Maritime Studies and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers since 2005.
Captain Vyacheslav Vetrych
Marine Manager and CSO
Capt. Vyacheslav Vetrych is the Marine Manager and the Company Security Officer (CSO) of Lemissoler. His primary responsibility is to monitor and control matters related to nautical and operational aspects. He provides guidance to the vessels’ Masters and office team in connection with the Marine, Vetting, PSC and Security. Capt. Vyacheslav Vetrych obtained Master’s degree in navigation at Odessa Maritime Academy. He has joined Lemissoler Navigation Co Ltd in April 2013 as Master of a bulk carrier bringing with himself many years of solid sea experience in command of various classes of ships.
In Jan 2015 he has been appointed as Fleet Training Master. Capt. Vyacheslav Vetrych has experience of sea and river pilot at Delta Pilot, Ukraine and attended various courses and seminars including “Training for Instructors” course at Southampton Warsash Maritime Academy and currently is studying at Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, UK.”
Stylianos Xanthoudakis was born in Nicosia in 1974. He is the Technical Manager of Lemissoler Shipmanagement since 2013, when he re-joined the company. Previously he was employed as Technical Superintendent by Golden Union Shipping Company and Cyprus Maritime which were operating pure bulk carrier fleets from Athens. In 2005 he returned to Cyprus in order to join Lemissoler Shipmanagement.
In 2008 he attempted a sector change by joining Louis Cruises where he remained until the relocation of the Cyprus based Technical Department in 2012. In the same year he started working for MSC Shipmanagement Cyprus that managed nearly half of the MSC container fleet. Stylianos holds a diploma in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University, Greece and he is a registered member of the Technical Chambers of Greece and Cyprus.
Patrik Lucio Bollini
Chief Information Officer
Patrik Lucio Bollini was born in Como, Italy in 1978. He is the Chief Information Officer of Lemissoler Navigation Co Ltd. Prior to his current position at Lemissoler Navigation Co Ltd, he worked at various companies in Germany. He started working for IBM Leipzig, Germany straight out of university as a Network Administrator and later moved onto Head of Technical Support. He later occupied the position as Information and Communications Technology Administrator and then Information and Communications Technology Manager at IS Group – BMW Partner (automotive system) Leipzig, Germany for a period of 3 years. In October of 2009 he moved to Cyprus, into the industry of shipping as an Information and Marine Communications Technology Manager.
Patrik holds Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University Carlo Cattaneo in Castellanza, Italy and Business Administration from the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany. He also holds various Microsoft and Cisco Certifications.
Marketing and Business Development Manager
George Theodotou was born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1984. Since 2011, he is a Marketing and Business Development Manager at Lemissoler Navigation Co. Ltd. Prior to this position and straight out of university he worked for five years as an LNG Chartering and Business Development Officer at Mitsui O.S.K Lines Ltd in London UK, where he was responsible for the bid management for tender submissions, marketing of vessels, commercial operation of four LNG carriers, negotiating off-hire and charter party performance claims, as well as producing weekly market summary, research and analysis reports.
At Lemissoler, his position involves providing management with market information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing market data and trends. George holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis from the Reading University, UK.
Insurance/Claims Handling Manager
George Shandos studied law at the University of Sheffield/UK where he acquired his LLB in 1992 before completing his postgraduate studies at UCL of the University College of London (1994) where he specialized in Maritime Law. Having worked in the Maritime Insurance industry since 1994 as a Marine Insurance Broker and claims manager, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experiences in the handling of complex claims and the placement of intriguing risk all across the maritime Sector, in 2007 established his own Marine Insurance Broking house offering specialized insurance solutions to the maritime sector.
George acts as the in-house Insurance Manager for the Group allowing us to access insurance markets and have an experienced team backing the insurance needs of the group.
Group Assistant Financial Controller
Nicos Economou was born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1979. He is the Group Assistant Financial Controller of the Group Lemissoler Navigation Ltd. Prior to his current position at Lemissoler Navigation Ltd, he worked at various companies in various sectors. He started working in 1999 for Sarnia Marine Insurance Brokers, and at the same time was studying for the Association Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). After five years he moved to Muskita Aluminium Industries Ltd, were he held the position of Account officer, with among other responsibilities of assisting the Chief Financial Officer of the Group, on the preparation of quarterly reports, planning organisation and implementation of the procedures within the accounts department. On April 2007 he made a career change, moving to Deloitte Ltd, as an auditor of various companies in various sectors like Manufacturing, Shipping etc.
As of January 2013 he has been serving as Group Assistant Financial Controller in Lemissoler Shipmanagement, a subsidiary of Lemissoler Navigation Co Ltd. Nicos is a member of ACCA since 2007.
Commercial Operations Manager
Andreas Kleovoulou was born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1981. He is the Commercial Operations Manager of Lemissoler Shipmanagement Ltd. Prior to his current position at Lemissoler Shipmanagement Ltd he was the Corporate Management Officer at the same company for two years. He previously worked as a Commercial Operations Assistant at Inter Marine Container Lines (IMCL) for three years which was a member of the Lemissoler Group.
Andreas holds a bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies from Piraeus University, Greece and a Master’s degree in Marine Policy at Cardiff University, Wales. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (M.I.C.S.).
Corporate & Legal Consultant
Zena Stylianou was born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1990. She is the Legal and Corporate Advisor at Lemissoler Navigation Co Limited. Prior to this position she worked as a Legal Advisor and Portfolio Manager at Eltoma Corporate Services Limited and as a Litigation Lawyer at Argentoula Ioannou LLC. In November 2015 she joint Lemissoler Navigation Co Limited as a Legal and Corporate Advisor providing legal advice, dealing with various legal matters, creating and reviewing any kind of legal documents, liaising with the Cyprus Registrar and other Public Authorities and being the Legal Secretary of Lemissoler Group.
Zena holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Manchester in UK and a Master of Laws in Human Rights and International Law (LL.M) from Brunel University in London, UK. She is a qualified lawyer since 2013, a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and a member of the International Law Association (Cyprus Branch).
