ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC SUPERINTENDENT

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Electrical and Electronic Superintendent to join our Technical department based in Limassol, Cyprus.

This role will support the Superintendents in managing electrical and electronic systems across various vessels, with flexible assignments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain electrical and electronic equipment on vessels.
Coordinate services, repairs, and maintenance with the Technical Coordinator.
Track and resolve equipment deficiencies and technical issues.
Manage requisitions and inventory for parts and spare parts.
Support dry docking preparations and remote monitoring of vessel systems.
Conduct technical inspections on board vessels.
Maintain accurate records for audits as per ISM Code.

Qualifications:

Electrical Engineering degree (specialization in Electronics is preferred).
Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
Knowledge of shipping industry, classification rules, and safety regulations.
Willingness to work irregular hours and travel overseas.
Leadership and decision-making skills.
Experience is a plus.

NEWBUILDING SUPERVISOR FOR A SHIPBUILDING PROJECT IN CHINA

Period of employment is for the duration of the New Building project in China, starting June 2025 with completion January 2027.

Qualifications

Marine Engineer or Naval Architect with sea going experience.

SHIP ACCOUNTANT

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily bookkeeping/accounting and recording of transactions in the accounting system.
Reconciliation of bank accounts, intercompany balances, debtors and creditors.
Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, and tax returns.
Preparation of monthly cash flows.
Preparation of Trial Balance and workings/analysis for external audit and assistance to the auditors during the audit process.
Other accounting related functions as required by the group.

Qualifications

LCCI Level 3 Higher or any equivalent qualification.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position. Work experience in the shipping industry will be considered an advantage.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other relevant fields will be considered an advantage.
Ability to take thoughtful initiative, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work independently but also as part of a team.
