George Shandos studied law at the University of Sheffield/UK where he acquired his LLB in 1992 before completing his postgraduate studies at UCL of the University College of London (1994) where he specialized in Maritime Law. Having worked in the Maritime Insurance industry since 1994 as a Marine Insurance Broker and claims manager, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experiences in the handling of complex claims and the placement of intriguing risk all across the maritime Sector, in 2007 established his own Marine Insurance Broking house offering specialized insurance solutions to the maritime sector.
George acts as the in-house Insurance Manager for the Group allowing us to access insurance markets and have an experienced team backing the insurance needs of the group.
