Stelios, joined Lemissoler in January 2005 as Technical Coordinator and Corporate Finance Manager and in March 2009 moved to the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Group. Before joining Lemissoler Stelios worked for five years for a Private Equity Firm from the positions of Shipping Analyst and Shipping Investments Manager and for another 1 year as a Credit Analyst at the shipping desk of Laiki Popular Bank.
Stelios obtained a Diploma in Marine Engineering from Higher Technical Institute in Cyprus, a BEng from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in Marine Technology and a MSc in Shipping Trade and Finance from Cass Business School in London. In 2012 he completed the Executive Leadership Program (ELP) at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM).
Since 2001, Stelios is member of the Board of Directors and advisory committees in various shipping companies. Stelios through his academic and professional background gained financial and operational experience within the banking, investment and maritime transportation sectors and has been actively involved in corporate finance transactions, financial restructurings, acquisitions, structured finance and joint venture investments always within the shipping industry.
