Polina Petrou joined Lemissoler in 2017 as a Ship Accountant and promoted to Accounting Manager in 2020. Prior to joining Lemissoler has served as an auditor in a small audit firm in Limassol for four years and prior to this as an accountant in a real estate company for two years. She is responsible to manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department. Her duties include to monitor and analyze accounting data and prepare financial management reports as well as the review of the statutory Financial Statements of the group. She liaises with and support external auditors for auditing the Group accounts.
She manages the preparation and filing of all Group VAT returns and she administrates tax matters for all companies. Polina is responsible for review and submission of Tonnage tax and Income tax returns.
Polina holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (BSc) from the University of Salford in UK. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).”
