ABS has issued an Approval in Principle (AIP) to Lemissoler Navigation Co Ltd. for their cutting-edge 65,000 DWT methanol dual fuel Ultramax design, the LEM 65e+.
The adoption of the dual fuel methanol engine reflects Lemissoler’s steadfast commitment to reducing the environmental impact of maritime operations, aligning with global efforts towards a cleaner and more sustainable shipping industry.
The design was officially unveiled by ABS at Marintec Expo Shanghai in December 2023, marking a significant milestone in Lemissoler’s journey towards cleaner and more efficient maritime transportation.
